So pleased I came to Australia on my own steam not like many poor young people from the UK. How sad that records were changed and families lost never to be found again in many cases. Shame on you government departments!

I never knew there were so many child immigrants. Their stories have moved me to tears, and made me ever so grateful for the loving and happy family I have had.
