Congratulations to Sejal Deshpande on an excellent oral history film My grandmothers' brother and sister were sent to Canada in 1900 to be cheap labour on farms. Imagine, in - 30 temperatures!

Looking for any information about my great uncle Francis Thomas Jenkins ( known as Fred) b London 1901, who travelled to Ontario in 1913, and who was in Dashwood , Ontario in 1919. Any suggestions, however tenuous, would be really great. Thank you!

I was a Boarder, "child migrant" at fairbridge in Bulawayo from 1954 to 1960 then on to Milton Senior till 1965. I remember you Elma, we were in the same class. Last I heard of Padre Dean and his family they migrated to what was then Northern Rhodesia. .My email is spwsew@gmail.com
