A fascinating insight into the positive and negative impact of child emigration. A really moving exhibition.

Thinking of all the poor child migrants who had to endure hardship, homesickness, isolation upon arriving in the colonies.

What a sad story for so many children. I have a friend who was sent to Neerkol in QLD always believing she was an orphan. She found her mother and was able to meet her as a middle aged lady - what a waste, what a loss.

These kids went through tough times but they turned out to be good people and a credit to Australia.

Very moving. Not aware of this element of history until saw an episode of 'Making Modern Australia' on the flight across and your exhibition answered all the questions I'd been left with. Thank you.
