A very interesting exhibition. I'm sure many of the children had a better life than they would have had in the UK.

I am proud to be English. We endured a lot but came out stronger and happy.

I have been very interested in the child migrant story since reading 'Empty Cradles' by Margaret Humphreys. As a child carer - it makes me sad to read the stories of families not knowing of the others' existence. I am glad of the 'apology' by Gordon Brown, but still feel the UK should never ever have carried out this deed. God bless to all concerned.
