It has been more than 100 year since my 5 great aunts were sent to Canada, an incredible story of the Richardson girls from Portsmouth. Two were later returned to their mother, a rare occurrence.

Searching for any family in Australia of Leslie Arthur Worth.Leslie was sent out from England to Australia (Fairbridge Farm School, Molong)in 1952. His sister Pamela, now in her late seventies, remained in England and would dearly like to contact any of Leslie`s children/grandchildren. Leslie died in 1973 and Pamela lost all contact with the family. If anyone has any information about the family or can suggest how to go about finding them, please contact me at margwilks@hotmail.com Thank you.

I am currently researching U.K Child Migration schemes to Australia for a novel I am writing.I am particularly interested in hearing from any females who were sent to Adelaide as a child, either to the Magill Methodist Children's Home, or the Sister's of Mercy Orphanage at Goodwood. If anyone is interested in sharing their experience, then and now, please email me at cathoff3@hotmail.com Kind regards to you all Catherine
