This ‘Band Book’ from the Liverpool Sheltering Homes records details of children sent to Canada aboard 'SS Victorian' on 10 May 1907.

Among them was Florence Mary Atkins, aged 14, who was admitted to the Liverpool Sheltering Homes in 1906. Florence is an unusual case as she was travelling out to join her mother who had found work as the cook at the Knowlton Home in Quebec.
